I grew up in Alhambra, California and attended Alhambra High School in the late 1960's. In High School I took a Metal Shop class. I learned how to weld in the 1970's at a motorcycle shop. I have been making metal sculptures for fun ever since.

I enjoy working with mild steel and generally use a Tig welder to assemble my sculptures. I purchase new raw steel from the local steel yard, but also use found objects like horse shoes and railroad spikes.

I am inspired by Native American petroglyphs and also by anonymous artists that weld together abstract sculptures of all types of things and display them in there yards .
